Going for Gold is coming to Riverside - a Whole School Project on the Olymipics!
Each class will be taking a different aspect of the topic and be learning about it for 3 to 4 weeks prior to our Focus Week commencing on Monday 19 March 2012.
P1 – Our bodies/keeping fit and healthy
P2 and Autism Provision – Sports
P3 – Human body and how to keep it healthy
P4 – Britain and the effect of the Olympics
P5 – Olympics past and present
P6 – Countries involved in the Olympics
P7 – Rights and responsibilities/democracy of the Olympics
A Whole School Celebration of Learning will take place the week beginning Monday 19 March 2012.

To get things going, the pupils were asked to design a logo for our Going for Gold week, and this super logo was chosen by the Pupil Council.
