FairTrade

We are very proud to hold the FairAchiever award following our work to promote an awareness of Fairtrade at RPS. This is the highest accolade a school can achieve.

To maintain this, in 2019-20 we plan to bring back the 'Fairtrade Foodie' chart in each classroom to encourage pupils to eat more Fairtrade products as their snack, and we are also going to meet with the Health and Wellbeing group to look into getting Fairtrade sports equipment for our school.

We are also hoping to meet with Calluna, a Fairtrade shop in our local community, in order to learn more about Fairtrade and why it's important.

In Fairtrade Fortnight we are looking forward to hosting a Fairtrade Afternoon Tea for members of our local community to come and enjoy Fairtrade food and drink and to share all we've learned about Fairtrade.
